Rollover Accident at Eagle Interchange Closes Westbound On Ramp

March 4, 2014 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - EAGLE – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has closed the I-70 westbound on ramp at mile marker 147 due to a semi-truck rollover accident blocking the lanes.

Colorado State Patrol, CDOT crews and members of the Greater Eagle Fire Protection District are on scene.  No injuries have been reported and crews are awaiting a hazmat team to arrive.  The crew on-site has reported minimal leakage of diesel at the scene.

Currently all roads in the area remain open.  Motorists can expect a full-closure of the westbound on and off ramp and the northbound roundabout after 6:30 p.m. tonight as crews engage in vehicle recovery to clear the scene.
