Join the HPTE Town Hall Meeting on July 8 to discuss financing alternatives for improvements on I-70 East Denver

July 1, 2014 - Statewide Transportation Plan - Participants can learn about the new innovative era of transportation and share thoughts on funding the proposed improvements to I-70 through east Denver.

DENVER - Tuesday, July 1, 2014 -- The  High Performance Transportation Enterprise (HPTE) today announced a public town hall meeting on July 8 to discuss innovative delivery, financing, and partnership opportunities for the proposed improvements to I-70 East.

Representatives from HPTE, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), the I-70 East team and the City and County of Denver will be available to discuss innovations in transportation choice, funding and project delivery; how public private partnerships (P3) can be used to finance transportation projects; and, specifically, the possible use of a P3 model for financing improvements to I-70 East. Additionally, there will be opportunities for attendees to ask questions and provide input at the meeting.

Who: Representatives from HPTE, CDOT, I-70 East EIS project team and the City and County of Denver

When: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 8

Where: Swansea Recreation Center, 2650 E. 49th Ave., Denver.
