Join the HPTE Town Hall Meeting on Aug. 19, to discuss financing alternatives for improvements on C-470

August 7, 2014 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - Participants can learn about the new innovative era of transportation and share thoughts on funding the proposed improvements on C-470 from I-25 to Wadsworth.

DENVER -- Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 -- The High Performance Transportation Enterprise (HPTE)  announced a public town hall meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 19, to discuss innovative delivery, financing, and partnership opportunities for the proposed improvements to C-470.

Representatives from HPTE, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), the C-470 project team and the C470 Coalition will present an update on the C-470 project; innovations in transportation choice, funding and project delivery; how public private partnerships (P3) are being used to finance transportation projects elsewhere in the state; and, specifically, whether a P3 model for financing improvements to C-470 East is being considered. There will be opportunities for attendees to ask questions and provide input at the meeting.

When: 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19. A presentation will begin at 7 p.m., followed by question and comment period

The C-470 Coalition is comprised of Douglas, Arapahoe and Jefferson counties and the cities of Castle Rock, Centennial, Greenwood Village, Littleton, Lone Tree, Parker and the Highlands Ranch Metro District.
