Temporary Ramp Metering to Begin at I-25 & County Line Interchange

August 11, 2014 - Metro Denver Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - DENVER - In an effort to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion along the I-25 Corridor during peak travel times, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will install temporary ramp metering on the southbound on-ramp at the I-25 and County Line Road Interchange.

This begins Tuesday, Aug. 12, and will remain in effect for approximately two weeks.
CDOT will be monitoring traffic flow, queue backups and traffic patterns to determine whether it improves congestion in this area for the traveling public. CDOT anticipates completion of this testing prior to beginning construction of the I-25 Lane Balancing project between Ridgegate and County Line Road ramps.
