CDOT Summer Maintenance Activities Impacting Traffic

August 28, 2015 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - CDOT Region 5 Maintenance Activity Update: August 31 to Sept. 4

SOUTHWEST/SOUTH-CENTRAL COLORADO – The following are this upcoming week’s maintenance activities that impact travel within CDOT Region 5’s two maintenance sections. (Numerous additional projects are underway—such as sweeping, guardrail repairs, shoulder and ditch work—but may only impact shoulders and/or cause only brief impacts in a mobile work zone). Motorists are advised to slow down and drive with extra caution whenever work vehicles or flashing lights are seen. Thank you for driving “Slow for the Cone Zone!”

Be Informed and Stay Connected: The best way to stay up-to-date on project progress, traffic impacts and more is to sign up for email and wireless (text) alerts. Go to CDOT's web site at www.codot.gov and click white envelop icon at the bottom of the page. Enter your information and choose the section of the state you would like to receive information about. Or, see our lane closure reports each week at www.codot.gov/travel/scheduled-lane-closures or call 511 from anywhere in the state.
