Asset management: SH 61 north of Otis to close for two weeks on Monday

October 1, 2015 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - WASHINGTON COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation will be replacing the deck of a bridge on State Highway 61 about 3.5 miles north of Otis, closing the road on Monday through Oct. 15.

CDOT maintenance crews will be working on the bridge over Surveyor Creek which was built in 1952. The wood deck will be replaced with steel deck to extend the life and make the bridge more safe for travelers.

A marked 3-mile detour – using county roads 44, 43 and SS – will be in place.
