Travel Advisory

June 23, 2022 - Central/Eastern Colorado

Denver - U.S. 6 over Loveland Pass will be closed today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for damage repairs due to a sinkhole. The sinkhole occurred yesterday. Crews worked through the day yesterday and re-opened the road before the evening. Crews expect to complete the last of the repairs today.

Alternate route is Interstate 70/Eisenhower Tunnel. Hazmat vehicles will be escorted through the tunnel at the top of the hour so regular traffic will be stopped to allow for this operation to take place. Motorists should expect hourly traffic stops at each of the tunnels.
