CDOT to pave the frontage road at Centennial Center in Bodo Park, Durango

October 18, 2022 - Southwestern Colorado - The two-day paving operation will take place on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 24 and 25

La Plata County - The Colorado Department of Transportation will pave a section of the frontage road in Bodo Industrial Park in Durango next week. The two-day paving operation will take place on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 24 and 25. The paving crew will resurface the roadway in front of Centennial Center and the Comfort Inn from County Road 210 to Suttle Drive.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic will be kept flowing through the work zone with lane shifts. Drivers may encounter periodic traffic stops and delays. Motorists will be guided by cones, signs and flagging personnel. Access in and out of businesses may be limited at times. Drivers can seek alternate access points and entrances surrounding Centennial Center and the Comfort Inn. This work is weather permitting.

  • Do not speed in work zones. Obey the posted speed limits.
  • Stay Alert! Expect the unexpected.
  • Watch for workers. Drive with caution.
  • Don't change lanes unnecessarily.
  • Avoid using mobile devices such as phones while driving in work zones.
  • Turn on headlights so that workers and other drivers can see you.
  • Be especially alert at night while driving in work zones.
  • Expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
  • Allow ample space between you and the car in front of you.
  • Anticipate lane shifts and merge when directed to do so.
