Oversight Committee

CDOT recognizes that asset management for the full state highway network is a good way to do business. A Transportation Asset Management (TAM) program structure, which includes an Oversight Committee, a Working Committee and several task forces, provides the support, guidance, and leadership to address when and where CDOT invests its limited asset management funding.

The Transportation Asset Management (TAM) Oversight Committee was formed in May 2012 to guide and support asset management activities at CDOT.  The vision of TAM at CDOT is to optimize transportation infrastructure service levels through strategic decision making, relying on accurate and timely information. Committee members are selected from CDOT’s Executive Management team.  The TAM Oversight Committee works closely with the Transportation Commission to ensure CDOT meets its asset management objectives.
