Anticipated traffic impacts for the week of 2/6/2023 include

  • CO 52 shoulder closures near CR 19
  • Due to limited space within the work zone, truck right turns are prohibited from westbound CO 52 to northbound CR 19 until the barrier wall is removed
  • All movements are now possible from northbound CR 19 onto or across CO 52
  • Reduced work zone speed limit
  • Oversize vehicle width restriction of 12 feet
  • Anticipated construction activities include:
  • Backfill material around the culvert
  • Finishing work

All work is weather-dependent and subject to change.

About the Project:

This project extends the ends of a concrete box culvert to improve road safety. Work includes replacing a 36-inch drainage culvert and widening intersection corners to accommodate large vehicles. 


Work Schedule:

  • General work hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Monday through Friday with occasional extended hours and weekend work possible
  • Construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change

Traffic Impacts:

  • The intersection will remain open during construction. Right turns are temporarily prohibited for trucks westbound on CO 52.
  • Signs will indicate when the restrictions are in place
  • Alternate routes are advised
  • Occasional lane closures and flagger control are possible
  • Oversize vehicle width restrict of 12 feet is on place
