February 6 - 10, 2023Anticipated traffic impacts for the week of 2/6/2023 include
- CO 52 shoulder closures near CR 19
- Due to limited space within the work zone, truck right turns are prohibited from westbound CO 52 to northbound CR 19 until the barrier wall is removed
- All movements are now possible from northbound CR 19 onto or across CO 52
- Reduced work zone speed limit
- Oversize vehicle width restriction of 12 feet
- Anticipated construction activities include:
- Backfill material around the culvert
- Finishing work
All work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
About the Project:
This project extends the ends of a concrete box culvert to improve road safety. Work includes replacing a 36-inch drainage culvert and widening intersection corners to accommodate large vehicles.
Work Schedule:
- General work hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Monday through Friday with occasional extended hours and weekend work possible
- Construction schedules are weather dependent and subject to change
Traffic Impacts:
- The intersection will remain open during construction. Right turns are temporarily prohibited for trucks westbound on CO 52.
- Signs will indicate when the restrictions are in place
- Alternate routes are advised
- Occasional lane closures and flagger control are possible
- Oversize vehicle width restrict of 12 feet is on place
