Bridge Rehabilitation Project between Gateway and Naturita
Winter Shutdown
November 17, 2022 - mid-March, 2023The Colorado Department of Transportation will implement a winter shutdown beginning November 17, 2022 on the Region 5 - CO 141 Bridge Rehabilitation and Improvements Project along CO 141 primarily between Naturita and Gateway at individual MP 59.075, 74.127, and 88.421.
The project will reconvene in mid-March 2023, and the new anticipated completion date is May 2023 as long as weather permits and construction supplies are available.
About the Project:
The project will include restoring bridge deck integrity, waterproofing, resurfacing, and pavement markings along this stretch of CO 141. The project is part of CDOT’s Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program to extend the service life of bridges and other major structures that the state maintains.
Work Schedule
- Daytime work hours range from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Traffic Impacts
- Vehicles will encounter single-lane, alternating traffic intermittently in either direction, and the use of portable light signals will be prominent throughout the duration of the project. These lane closures may have up to 15-minute delays. The speed limit will be reduced to 40 mph through the work zone. The project is expected to last until the end of September.
